Ingredients

Main

  • 4 slices of leftover turkey, add more as desired
  • 2 slices of bread
  • 1/2 cup stuffing
  • 1/2 cup cranberry sauce
  • 1/4 cup turkey gravy
  • 2 lettuce leaves
  • 2 tablespoons mayonaisse

Steps

  1. Toast the bread

This step is optional, but I highly recommend it to protect the bread from getting soggy. Toast the bread just slightly as we're not looking for burnt toast here.

  2. Slather the mayo on the toast

Slather a nice amount of mayonnaise on the bottom slice of bread.

  3. Layer the sliced turkey

Layer the sliced turkey evenly over the mayo. You can also add some shredded dark meat on top if you'd like.

  4. Add the cranberry sauce

Using a spoon or knife, spread the cranberry sauce over the turkey without going too close to the edges. It will spread out more when you place the remaining slice of bread on top.

  5. Layer on the stuffing and gravy

Carefully spread the stuffing over the cranberry sauce and top with gravy. If it's easier, you can mix the gravy and stuffing together in a bowl prior to adding it to the sandwich.

  6. Add the lettuce

Add the lettuce slices over the previously stacked ingredients.

  7. Top with the remaining slice of bread

Top the sandwich with the remaining slice of bread and enjoy!
